Ordering Policies

Notice periods

• Advance orders require a minimum of 2 days’ notice.
• Mini cupcakes require a minimum of 4 days’ notice.
• Custom decorated cookies require a minimum of 4 days’ notice, minimum 12 cookies.
• Scones are pre-order only, minimum 6 scones and a $15 minimum order.
• Wedding and large-order timing is confirmed individually.

Need something sooner? Please call the bakery and we’ll let you know what’s available. We can’t promise short-notice requests can be accommodated.

How an order is confirmed

1. You submit a request or call us.
2. We review the details and check availability.
3. We contact you to go over everything.
4. The final price is confirmed.
5. Required payment is received.
6. Your order is booked.

Submitting a request does not confirm an order. Nothing is booked until we’ve confirmed availability and received any required payment.

Payment

Regular advance orders are prepaid to be confirmed. Wedding cake payment terms are discussed individually when the quote is finalised.

Cancellations and refunds

Regular custom cakes may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date for a full refund. We are unable to offer a refund after that cutoff.

The 48-hour rule does not automatically apply to wedding cakes, multi-tier cakes, large orders or special orders. For those, cancellation, payment and refund terms are agreed individually when the order is booked.

Standard vs custom pricing

Listed prices are for our standard cakes. Custom colours, designs, decorations, writing, fillings, themes or tiering may affect the price. Submit a custom cake request and we’ll confirm the final price with you.

Pickup and delivery

Pickup is available from both our Ladner and Steveston Village locations. Delivery may be available for certain orders — please call us to discuss availability and delivery charges. Delivery is not guaranteed.

For larger, multi-tier or delicate cakes we recommend Ladner pickup and will confirm the best location with you.
